A rare sunny September day in Dublin saw the Aviva host one of college football’s oldest rivalries, the Fighting Irish, Notre dame against the Navy Midshipmen. The Naval Academy and Navy Athletics staff did a fantastic job organising a spectacular event for the lucky 50,000 fans at Lansdowne Road and the millions watching on TV.

In just a few weeks time, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will utter the words “with the first overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts select…..” while it is a mystery who the Colts will pick (most likely Stanford Quarterback Andrew Luck) the anticipation surrounding the Draft is huge.
