Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the two teams facing off in Wembley this year will be Patriots and the Rams. The game is scheduled for October 28th at 5pm.
Art Rooney is playing down the likelihood that the Steelers will come to Ireland in 2012. With the announcement about the International Series expected today, according to the Steelers President the fact that the Navy Notre Dame game is on here could affect their decision.
The NFL are set to make an announcement on their UKNFL site regarding the International Series tomorrow. Hopefully they will confirm whether or not there will in fact be two games played in 2012 in Europe, if they do the rumors are that either the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff or Croke Park will be on the schedule. Due to the fact that London has the Olympics in 2012, Roger Goodell had previously stated that it was unlikely London would hold two games. Last year NFL owners had voted for a 5 year extension to the series and also that two games could be played a season.

Last week NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell, met with Peter King of Sports Illustrated and spoke about the future of the International game. It does look like 2012 will see a second regular season game in Europe, potential venues include Croke Park in Dublin and the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff.
