Lingerie Football League still has sights on European expansion

NFL-Ireland reported back in August that the Lingerie Football League was looking at bringing a team to Dublin for the 2014 season. At the moment LFL chief Mitch Mortaza is in Monaco setting his plans for LFL Europe in motion.

The LFL, which is the “fastest growing professional sports league in the US”, is currently an exhibitor at SPORTEL Monaco, “the most influential business market for top-level sports and media executives”.

A post on the Lingerie Football League Facebook page, which has over 310,000 fans, is captioned with

and accompanied by a shot of the LFL booth.

With media partners already on board:

it looks like it could be a successful trip for Mortaza and LFLEurope.

The LFL made news recently after a brawl broke out at a game between the Saskatoon Sirens and the Regina Rage. The game finished 26-20 to the Rage.

We’re hoping to hear news on the status of LFLEurope very soon.
